MaeFae is the virtual personality and singer/songwriter persona of Mae Claire.
MaeFae is represented by a girl with short violet black hair, purple eyes, a purple headscarf, and a waling-waling flower clip.
Since she was 6 years old, Mae Claire has been singing as a lead vocalist for her family’s cover band, “Weekend Rush”, until she was scouted by Aspire Communications to guest perform as Cosplay Singer & Guitarist “MaeMae” for Reni Mimura’s Maid Show in 2010.
Since then, she performed for various conventions and events including AnimeNext, CastlePoint Anime Convention, ZenkaiCon, Philadelphia’s Subaru Cherry Blossom Festival, and more.
In 2013, she was featured as a guest vocalist in DJ Kurono’s J-Electro Kunoichi Style under the pseudo, KISA. After her last live performance in 2015 at 愛 Ichigo Latte Maid Cafe, she took a 6-year break from music to focus on modeling and acting.
In 2020, Mae Claire returned to music through her promo EP “PROJECT PRISM” as a love letter to her eclectic musical journey.
Project V-Idol
To continue her love for singing, she began PROJECT V-IDOL to pay homage to the unique musical genres, visual inspirations, and community that kickstarted her creative career.
V-IDOL is a music and content creation project hosted primarily through YouTube and Twitch.
The goal of this project is to build a community around her brand while gaining a foothold as a singer, voice actor, and entertainer in the anime and video game industry.
